2026 BILLTOWN BLUES ASSOCIATION
AUDITION APPLICATION
PLEASE READ BELOW BEFORE SUBMITTING
Only working Blues Musicians based in Pennsylvania will be considered.
If selected, all performing members of your band, as described below, must be present at the Audition Concert on Sunday, March 8th, 2026. You cannot compete as a solo/duo artist and also compete with a band. The completion and submission of the application does not guarantee acceptance. The audition winners in each category will be eligible to submit for acceptance in the International Blues Competition (IBC) in Memphis for 2027. As our Association does not charge an application fee, ALL PARTICIPATING APPLICANTS must become members of the Billtown Blues Association at $15.00 per person.
EXAMPLE: 5 band members = 5 memberships for a total of $75, or 1 solo artist = 1 membership for $15
To be considered for acceptance in the BBA Audition Concert, all of the following items must be included with your application:
1. Two 300 dpi COLOR photos (originals) for publicity purposes in JPEG file format. Absolutely NO inkjet or laser prints, or newspaper photos, please. To maximize your publicity opportunity, we ask for a photo(s) in a horizontal and a vertical format.
2. A biography on the members of your band and the band itself to be used for publicity purposes.
3. A CD, USB, streaming links, or individual MP3 files with three of your songs. (If there are more than three songs included on the CD, please indicate which three you want to be considered.)
4. BBA membership applications & payments for all participating applicants.
NOTE: You may email all of the above items if the file sizes are too large for the form below, or you can include them on a USB (minus the Membership payment(s)), and send them to the address below. If you choose to mail in your items, the COLOR photo size is 4” x 6”, with a 300 dpi resolution.
When sending items through email, the bio must be a Microsoft Word document (.doc) or a PDF; alternatively, the text can be embedded in the body of the email.
Depending on the MP3 file size, you may need to send each song separately. If using email, please send it to the address below, and in the subject line, enter: “BBA Audition Application,” or it will not be accepted.
Applications and Membership payments must be submitted on or before January 9th, 2026!

In the unfortunate event that you need to withdraw your application, except under extreme circumstances, we regret to inform you that your eligibility for the Audition Concert in 2027 will be affected.
Please be aware that organizing this event requires a significant amount of time and effort from our dedicated volunteers. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated as we work together to make this event a success for our organization and the entire community.***
