1.   All performers in both band and solo/duo competitions must be present to sign in at the Genetti Hotel no later than 3:00 pm

2.   A Billtown Blues Committee Member will oversee the loading of the handicapped elevator to avoid overloading and damage,
      if use is permitted. If not, equipment will be transported using the kitchen ramp.

3.   Only band members with equipment/instruments are to use handicap elevator.
      All band guests please use Main Ballroom Entrance.

4.   Due to limited seating band guests will not be comped for this event. Admission is $10 per person.

5.   The only compensation for ALL participating musicians at this event is a ticket to the
      21st Annual Billtown Blues Festival on June 13, 2010.

6.   Each solo/duo act will be performing a 25 minute set with a 5 minute change over.

7.   Each band will be performing a 25 minute set with a 10 minute change over.

8.   All performances will be judged in the categories of blues content, talent, vocals, originality and stage presence
      in accordance with IBC rules. (www.blues.org)

9.   There will be a universal drum kit set up for all to use. Drummers are welcome to bring their own
      kick pedal, cymbals and snare.

10.  All performers must bring their own instruments and amps.

11.  All performers must be present during the counting of the votes.

12.  The winner of the band competition will perform on the main stage at the
       21st Annual Billtown Blues Festival on June 13, 2010.

13.  The winner of the solo/duo competition will perform in the acoustic tent at the
       21st Annual Billtown Blues Festival on June 13, 2010.

14.  Hour Break 5:00-6:00pm There will be a photo shoot opportunity for all solo/duo and bands at this time.
       If you are interested in this opportunity please advise us at time of sign in.

15.  Following the competition there will be a jam for all participating musicians while the votes are being calculated.

16.  Applicants that are members of the Billtown Blues Association are not eligible to judge,
       therefore no ballots will be given out to any of the performers.
